What do you love about what you do?

What I love about what I do is that I get to use my body as a form of art. Dancing allows me to connect myself, to find myself, and to lose myself by letting go.

Have you had to make sacrifices to get to where you are today?

In order to make dreams or goals come true, you will always have to make sacrifices for yourself or for others, in my case I left my country (Chile) and my family, age 18 to persue my dream of becoming a professional dancer.

What happens on a bad training day?

If I have a bad day, training or dancing, I just try to forget about it, and not over think it or over do things. It happens many times when sometimes I just wake up and I know that it is not going to be a good day, but the I just say to myself, tomorrow will be a new day and a new start.

How do you get over a bad training day and move on?

I always feel that talking to someone about “my bad day” always help, even if it’s for just a couple of minutes. Another thing that I tend to do, is to grab a big coffee. I am a coffee lover and i always find that it cheers me up! But probably the best that I do for myself when I have had a bad training day, is to get home and have a bath and time for myself!

How do you stay motivated to train every day?

A strong body means a strong life, and keeping a healthy body is key for me to succeed in this business. That is why training plays such a big role when it comes to maintaining a healthy lifestyle. My secret is “THE MUSIC” I always make sure I have good playlists that will pump me to not stop and just enjoy my training!

What are your dreams for your fitness future?

My big dream is to become the next “sensation” in the dance and fitness industry, with my workout: HFF CARDIO DANCE. I want to leave a steel and my footprints in this industry, and I want to show the rest of the world that dreams can come true if you believe in yourself and if you have the right courage to pursue them.

How often do you you train? How do you train?

I train every day! And sometimes more than twice a day. But I do it because I love it and I love working with my body. I do all sorts of training such as going to the gym, doing a spin class, running, or simply just getting a studio and simply working with my body (no props or machines). For me my best workouts are always in a studio, the one thing I do need to have is a mirror and plenty of room!

How did you get into your sport?

From the day I was born I was always surrounded by sports! Both of my parents (triathletes) have always carried a super active lifestyle, They have always encouraged me and my other siblings to be active and to try different sports and activities. As a child I did gymnastics, running and tennis, and also trained professionally as a swimmer for many years before I went into dancing.
